New race in 2008
The Madison Marathon will offer a Quarter Marathon race in 2008 in place of the 5 and 10K. (A quarter marathon is equal to approx. 10.55 km.) Quarter marathon runners will receive a finishers medal and t-shirt.
Brat Fest Finish
The Madison Marathon races will once again finish at Alliant Energy Center near Johnsonville's World's Largest Brat Fest. Take a victory lap around Willow Island and enjoy brats, beer and exciting new entertainment acts. For more information on Brat Fest 2008, visit www.bratfest.com
Calling all Volunteers!!
Volunteer registration is now open for the 2008 Madison Marathon. Support our wonderful athletes by giving of your time AND cheering from the sidelines. Shifts are available for Friday, Saturday or Sunday of race weekend. Volunteers receive a Madison Marathon volunteer t-shirt, assorted goodies (TBD) and the eternal gratitude of the Madison Marathon staff and participants.
