The Madison Marathon is so very Wisconsin. The certified race and Boston Marathon qualifier takes runners to all of the fantastic areas that make the city great. Participants run past the state capitol and governor’s mansion, through the UW campus and the UW Arboretum, and around Lake Mendota and Monona Bay. Madison Marathon is part of the Runner’s World “Green Team.”
